First Pangaea Expedition participants named
Names of the first young adults selected to join Mike Horn’s Pangaea Expedition have been revealed. They are: Vincent Butty and Nora Haselbach (Switzerland), Henry Stanislaw (US), Alexandra Le Dily and Clémence Cadario (South Africa), Maria Puig Ribas (Spain) and Nicolas Valdivieso (Chile).
Mr Horn’s mission is a four-year trans-navigation of the globe by sea and land.
The eight participants were chosen following a rigorous selection process, supervised by Mike Horn and his team, at the first training camp for Young Explorers in Switzerland.
At various stages throughout the four-year journey, other groups of young adults from all over the world will be invited to join Mike Horn on his journey. The Pangaea Expedition will cover 100,000 kms, reaching the North and South Poles and crossing all the continents and oceans. It will involve walking, kayaking, cycling, paragliding, skiing and sailing across all terrains including oceans, rivers, lakes, mountains, desert, jungle, tundra and ice fields.
