Pete Carlson to carry earth-friendly golf balls
California-based Pete Carlson’s Golf & Tennis is to stock Dixon Golf’s eco-friendly Earth golf balls.
The Dixon Earth golf ball is made from a proprietary polymer that maintains the playable properties of the ball, but ensures that it is 100% renewable. It is made from materials that can be recycled and used to make other consumer products and the packaging is also made from 100% recycled material. It does not contain any heavy-metal pollutants such as tungsten, cobalt and lead.
"Golfers now have an option to 'play green' while maintaining product performance," says Pete Carlson. "We're pleased to offer the Dixon Earth ball to our customers and have this environmentally friendly product in our pro shop."
Established in 1980, the company has been selling sporting goods in the Coachella Valley for 28 years.
