Performance apparel brand Sugoi is launching a new range of products in time for Christmas and the forthcoming winter sports season.
Its Firewall 220 product is an aerobic-specific softshell fabric that it believes can meet the demands of high-output athletes. It describes it as a windproof, water repellent barrier with minimal bulk that provides "the optimum balance between weather protection and thermal regulation". The apparel products made with Firewall 220 that it is bringing to market now include jackets for running and cycling, which it says also look good with a pair of jeans.
Also on the list is the Majik Shell Jacket, which will protect wearers from rain throughout the year, delivering great style, amazing stretch, breathability and detailing.
Sugoi also offers a range of products made from its Wallaroo Merino wool, which it says provides a comfortable
and dry body environment, thanks to its high level of breathability, temperature regulation and moisture control. Wallaroo comes in three fabric weights and is, the brand claims, "simply the finest technical natural fabric available for winter workouts". The Wallaroo collection consists of first- and second-layer garments and a wide range of accessories, all of which switch easily from sports to street or office.
Finally, the brand's Kana series is aimed at injecting some flower-power into wearers' winter sports efforts. This line includes cosy thermal jerseys, tank tops and accessories. They have flower graphics, stylish lines and exceptional detailing.
