Lifestyle ambitions take Lotto into new partnership

                    Sports footwear, clothing and accessories brand Lotto Sport Italia has appointed Star 360 as its new licensee for the Malaysian market.
The agreement, which was officially announced during a press conference in Kuala Lumpur, will allow the new licensee to market Lotto’s branded products throughout Malaysia until 2014, with a renewal option for a further five years.
Luca Tomat, business unit director for Asia Pacific said: “Malaysia is a key strategic market for a soccer-specialist brand like Lotto but also a promising country for our expansion ambitions into sport lifestyle. For this reason we have decided to partner up with Star 360, an experienced company able to reach any possible distribution channel. Lotto believes that Star 360’s competence in local market knowledge combined with Lotto's Italian design and technology will make this venture a very successful one in Malaysia.”
Andy Zhao, chief executive of Star 360, said: “We are truly excited to be in partnership with a brand that has a rich heritage in the sports arena. The news for Malaysia is that, further to the performance lines for which Lotto is known in the country, we will also launch its exciting Italian sport lifestyle lines.”
