Adrenalina on acquisition trail

Sports and outdoor retailer Adrenalina has submitted a proposal to the board of directors of Pacific Sunwear (PacSun) of California to enter into negotiations that will lead to the acquisition of PacSun. PacSun's shares have risen in price on the news.
Adrenalina pioneered a concept called 'The Extreme Store', which showcases top-quality athletic apparel, equipment and accessories in what the company describes as “a fun, engaging retail entertainment format”. The stores aim to carry the best in extreme sports apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories from industry leaders and fashion brands including Quiksilver, Billabong, Volcom, O'Neill, Reef, Crocs and Ed Hardy.
Stores are in place already in three cities in Florida, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa. Other stores are under construction in Denver, Colorado, Alpharetta, Georgia, Plano, Texas and Houston, Texas. The company has also secured an additional prime location in the New York area.
