OrthoLite, a provider of open-cell foam insoles, has partnered with outdoor brand Oakley to produce insoles for its new 2008 Outdoor Footwear Line. The insoles will be featured in Oakley’s Slingblade, All Mountain LT, Nail, Nail Low, Basic Training, Tactical Six and the Duty and Tactical-inspired Sabot collection of boots.

“OrthoLite insoles will be included in Oakley’s growing outdoor footwear category; ensuring quality, comfort and support with each step,” said Jeff Alton, Oakley footwear programme manager on announcing the deal. “OrthoLite’s dedication to offer breathable, moisture wicking and long-lasting comfort insoles aligns with Oakley’s desire to provide the best footwear possible.”

“Oakley’s reputation for high-quality performance products, coupled with OrthoLite’s innovative technology and benefits, will offer consumers an enhanced level of comfort and performance,” said Glenn Barrett, OrthoLite CEO.

Consumers will be able to easily identify styles that offer OrthoLite comfort by looking for the logo on the shoe’s insole.
