German performance apparel brand Sugoi has launched a new collection for spring 2009, with apparel for running, biking, triathlon and general outdoor sports.
Part of the range is the high-end RS R series, which provides race-worthy clothing, from super-light shirts and shorts, supportive tops and bras to elite accessories.
Sugoi explains that this series contains “highly evolved fabrics” combined with “anatomically optimised 3D patterning, innovative details, strong colors and great designs”.
For everyday use, there are casually shaped performance pieces that will work for rigorous training or leisuretime.
The new Fitness bra and Tank collection features a simple and effective inner support system. The brand new Gobi fabric, which is used for the RS R and Gustov shirts, is constructed especially for hot-weather performance. It is a polyester microfibre, knit in a diamond-shaped structure that provides high levels of moisture management along with mesh-like breathability and ventilation. The company claims that this new yarn and knitting process also offer “superior abrasion and snag-resistance and exceptional Lycra-free stretch for ideal form fit”.
