Turmoil in the financial markets will see outdoor apparel producer Quiksilver realise just 40% of the previously agreed price for its Rossignol segment.

The company decided to sell the ski business to Chartreuse & Mont Blanc for €100 million euros back in August. The move was met with approval from shareholders as the segment had been struggling for some time. However, it will now receive just €40 million for the business.
