A seminar focusing on smart textiles and clothing will take place on November 18 at the Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. A BSI (British Standards) committee meeting will follow.

The seminar will cover topics such as: colour changing textiles; shape changing textiles; solar power harvesting garments; smart materials, structures and surfaces; solar textiles; and smart textiles and the need for standards.
