The Brandvis Group, based in Ireland, won first prize in the Innovations Awards for Workwear at the Paris Expoprotection show, held November 4-7.

The company’s patented software solution allows consumers to take control of designing and branding high visibility clothing. The web-based solution allows clients to choose a garment style and choose from 21 colours. The user can also add small and large logos and add accessories such as an ID holder or mobile phone pocket.

The customer can then order a sample online, receive a 3D model confirmation within 24 hours and a fully certified physical sample within seven days. The system can instantly verify whether the jacket design meets EN471: 2003 Class 1, Class 2 or Class 3 for high visibility clothing. It can also be programmed to certify designs for protective wear such as chemical resistant and flame retardant clothing.
