Bangalore is to host the International Textile Machinery Exhibition (India ITME) for the first time ever. The event, which runs from November 15-22, will be inaugurated by textiles minister Shri Shankersinh Vaghela. It will take place at the newly built, state-of-the-art Bangalore Exhibition Complex.

Participants from all over the world, including Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, the UK, the USA, China, Turkey and Brazil will attend. Approximately 750 exhibitors will present their goods at the event, of which 310 will come from overseas.

The latest machinery will be presented by a number of companies including Rieter, Oerlikon and Harish textile enterprises.
