New cardio vest from Dryarn and Outwet
Dryarn microfibre, owned by Italian synthetic fibres, polymers and chemicals company Aquafil has been used to make a “revolutionary” running vest in collaboration with sports textiles manufacturer Outwet.
The companies claim that the new heartbeat monitoring vest, called the Cardio heartbeat, gives athletes greater freedom of movement and comfort than traditional monitoring straps.
Wearers simply attach the transmitter to the front of the vest inside the mesh and then sprinkle the electrodes with water. No gel is needed in order to detect heart rate.
