Dates for Intertextile Beijing announced
Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics is to return to the China International Exhibition Centre from March 29-31, 2009. This is the second time the event has taken place at the modern exhibition centre.
The March 2008 edition welcomed more than 25,000 visitors from 74 countries attended. It hosted 1,300 exhibitors across 48,000 m² of trade space.
According to show organiser Messe Frankfurt, China's GDP is still rising despite the global economic slowdown, with domestic consumption up 10% year-on-year in the first three quarters of this year.
Director of trade fairs for Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, Wendy Wen, points out that visitors can really make the most of their trip to China. "Many visitors use the occasion of the show to also visit factories,” she says. “This adds value to their trip, and creates better participation.”
