Victory for Buff Coolmax Team
The Buff Coolmax Extreme Raid Team has clocked up its fourth victory of the year by winning the second edition of the Orient Raid.
The Raid, which took place at the Lake of Salagou, France, started with 65 teams, with 35 teams taking part in the elite circuit. The Buff Coolmax Team began the 85 km course on bicycles, continuing in kayaks after 14 km.
Other results for the year include first position in: the Raid des Drailles du Clos Gaillard in Nîmes (April 13); the Raid Aubanel in Gorges de l’Herault (April 27); the Raid Sommières Vaunage Aventure in Sommières (September 21); third place in the Raid de l’Archipel in Agde (March 23) and 11th place in the Adventure Racing World Championship in Brazil (November 9).
The team’s competition clothing is made with Coolmax fabrics, which offers an evaporative cooling effect to keep them dry and cool during the competition.
