Laurence Modiano, Meredith Sheil, George Falkiner and David Webster have been elected to the Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) board of directors. Mr Brian van Rooyen was reelected.

Immediately after the declaration of the poll, the new board convened and elected Wal Merriman as its new chairman of directors and Roger Fletcher as deputy chairman.

The result of the election was announced on November 19 at the company’s annual general meeting in Perth, Western Australia.
