Nanshan joins TMC ‘Club’
The Merino Company (TMC), based in Australia, has added another member to its woven service business ‘The Woven Club’. China’s second largest textile firm Nanshan has now joined ‘The Club’.
Nanshan has already developed an exclusive woven collection for TMC at its facilities in Shandong Province made from 100% merino wool.
Commenting on the collection, Cesare Corgatelli from TMC Europe, said: “The collection provides our global sales force with a very exciting product offering and new market opportunities. Customers will be able to choose the fabric style they desire, match it with one of our unique and differentiated wool brand platforms, and select their preferred garment manufacturer from our Woven Club to create a truly customised product solution.”
TMC launched the collection last week and claims several retailers have already visited Nanshan to discuss opportunities for their autumn-winter 2009 ranges.
