CAMP to present new winter wonders at ispo

Italian outdoor equipment brand CAMP has added new items to its range and these products will be on display at ispo in Munich from February 1-4.

Its new technical gloves include: the G TECH Dry, which is best suited for skiing, ski mountaineering and ski touring; G HOT Dry, suitable for ski mountaineering and global mountaineering activities; and G LITE Wind, which is ideal for mountaineering, ski mountaineering and ski touring.

G TECH Dry features Hipora, a waterproof and breathable fabric, and Grip'R, a silicone grip on the thumb, index and palm to ensure maximum grip. G HOT Dry uses Thermolite, a micro fibre insulation to keep the glove warm, even during humid spells and Pittards Amortan, a leather reinforcement on the palm and thumb. G LITE Wind features Windstopper pile and weighs just 80 grammes.

Other new innovations include its new CAMP Snow3 snowshoes. They offer a straightforward length regulation system so users can increase or decrease the waterline surface with a simple action according to snow conditions. It is polypropylene base built and is said to be super-resistant even at low temperatures. The shoe features a polyamide heel and toe, while the front crampon is made from aluminium and the lower crampon is in steel. The shoe is bar built with steel springs for an elastic structure and weighs 2.3 kg.
