New Arc’Teryx products to appear at ispo
Canadian developer of mountain equipment and apparel is to present new innovations and products at ispo, which will be held February 1-4 in Munich.
Products will include the company’s Atom series of ultra-lightweight, technical insulated jackets, which are said to be fast-drying and easily packable. They are made from Luminaria (20d Ripstop-nylon with mechanical stretch) and lightweight Coreloft lining (60 g/m2 siliconised, multi-denier PES staple fibres). The side panels and forearms feature Polartec Power Stretch with Hardface technology to increase freedom of movement and breathability.
The most technical climbing piece of the line is the Atom MX jacket, featuring insulation on the upper torso and arms, while the bottom of the body is lightly insulated with brushed tricot for sleek layering under a climbing harness of a pack hipbelt.
Meanwhile, the company’s new Stinger (men’s) and Scimitar (women’s) bibs offer better fit and mobility for skiing and snowboarding. Fabrics used include 480N, 380 NR and 410N Gore-Tex Pro Shell 3L and Schoeller’s Keptrotec.
