Berghaus signs new Benelux distributor
UK-based outdoor apparel and equipment firm Berghaus has signed a new distribution arrangement for the Benelux region.
The company’s agreement with previous agent LV Equipment is to end, although the two firms will continue to work together on military sales across Europe.
The new agreement is with sports and lifestyle products distributor Fros and will involve brands such as Lacoste, Kappa and Killy. Fros is now the exclusive distributor for Berghaus clothing, footwear and equipment in Benelux.
Fros has developed an outdoors division, which is led by sales director Karel Schreuders, who spent 10 years in the sector with Tenson. Mr Schreuders will work with a dedicated sales team for Berghaus, operating out of purpose built offices and showrooms in the Netherlands and Belgium. Fros also has its own distribution centre, allowing for rapid stock replenishment when required.
