Dolomite uses Dryarn in new collection

Italy-based outdoor brand Dolomite is to present its latest products at Pitti Imagine, including garments containing Dryarn. The show will take place in Florence from January 13-16.

According to Aquafil, which makes Dryarn, the polypropylene microfibre is better than wool in terms of insulation and better than cotton because it allows water, humidity and sweat to be transported to the outside of the fabric. This helps to reduce the proliferation of bacteria and the formation of odours.

Dolomite’s Tierra del Fuego line combines wool with Dryarn for extra comfort and performance. Colours are designed to reflect natural elements—red for fire, blue for sky, white for snow and grey for rock—and the sweaters are lightweight and offer good freedom of movement.
