Musto launches new autumn-winter range
UK-based performance brand Musto has launched a new autumn-winter 2009 range.
The men’s range features textured tweeds with a contemporary twist for commuters. Country-inspired silhouettes are lifted by the use of lighter weight technical fabrics and easy-to-wear styles.
For women, jackets and gilets have a country feel, with details including warm inner cuffs, draft-excluding hem adjustors, padded quilts and country tweeds.
Practical, technical skirts are available in varying lengths for an easy look that complements knitwear, while hunting blazers and hacking jackets are made from textured cottons and tweeds with an emphasis on cut and fit. Leather and fur substantiate the country life approach.
Old classics combine with new innovations to give pieces such as waterproof wool macs and seam sealed jackets that offer timeless styling that is built to perform.
The colour palette uses muted monochromes alongside colours that reflect the natural elements such as oceanic blues. These are coupled with seasonal colour groups of rich neutrals, organic tints and saturated brights including opulent feminine pinks for women’s wear.
