New Cordura Colourlock fabrics unveiled

28/01/2009

New Cordura Colourlock fabrics were launched at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market, held in Salt Lake City from January 22-25. The collection on show was developed by Korea-based Lee Jo Textile, an authorised Cordura fabric mill.

Lee Jo’s collection consists of seven colours, all based on 650 denier flat constructions in a variety of styles such as dobby, twill and rainbow patterns. Japanese firm Okano Trading Company will be the first to debut the fabric line.

Invista’s Cordura Colourlock fabrics offer stain resistance, colourfastness and durability. Lee Jo uses Invista’s solution dyed nylon, in which colour is permanently built into the fibre, eliminating the need to piece-dye fabrics. The fabrics can be used for outdoor apparel, packs, bags, luggage, workwear and upholstery.
