Fibre manufacturer Advansa has announced an impressive list of brands that have signed up to use the company’s ThermoCool product, which it launched at ispo Winter a year ago.

The companies that have decided to use the fibre—which combines moisture management and thermoregulation functionality—include Alpine Pro, Grifone, Nemar and Lurbel.

Apparel marketing manager, Jordi López, told sportstextiles.com that he felt the spped with which these companies had decided to include ThermoCool in their product development plans was impressive. He said: “The normal cycle—from yarn to shop—is around 24 months or, if you go really quickly, maybe 18 months. But in the case of ThermoCool some of our customers have done this in only 12 months.”

He said interest in the product was still high and that he expected to add more names to the customer-list in the months ahead.
