Outdoor Awards—winners announced
03/02/2009
The organisers of the ispo Winter exhibition have announced the winners of the 2009 Outdoor Awards, celebrating innovation in outdoor products.
Swiss brand Mammut carried off two of the awards, one for Gym System, a climbing-hall collection that focuses on durability and safety features, and the other in the textiles category for its Lobuche jacket, a product that offers high levels of moisture-wicking and breathability thanks to nanofibres attached to the out material by electronic beam.
Dynafit was the winner of the footwear category for its Dy.N.A ski touring boot. The boot is light in weight and has a buckle system on the shaft that makes it possible for the wearer to change from ski to walk mode with just one buckle.
Other winners were Petzl, Salema, Peter Aschenauer and Fritschi.
