Fitness wear brand Vata Brasil is offering wearers moisture management entirely through its choice of fabrics.
Chief operating officer, Daniel Langevin, told sportstextiles.com that his conversations with people who use and run fitness centres in Canada (Vata Brasil’s home market, in spite of the name—the collection is designed in Vancouver, and manufactured in Rio de Janeiro) have made it clear that chemical enhancements of fabric to provide moisture management and other functionality have fallen sharply out of favour.
“People want a natural solution instead of a chemical one,” he said.
Vata Brasil uses its own fabric technology, with a product called OneFit, which offers ten-way stretch and custom-fit for every wearer, allowing maximum movement and flexibility.
