Under Armour launches running shoe collection

True to the announcements it made in December, sports brand Under Armour has launched a new collection of running shoes, choosing the weekend (January 31–February 1) and venue of the Superbowl (Miami, Florida) for the occasion.
One of the brand’s senior vice-presidents, Steve Battista, told The Washington Post: “The encouraging thing is that whether you speak to a run specialty dealer or one of the big box retailers when it comes to the category of running, they are thirsting for a brand with a new story that can come in and be disruptive.”
Each of the six shoes in the collection—two for trail running and four for road—has a ‘FootSleeve’ inside to help protect the foot from abrasion, and each of the six is for a specific arch type.
