JJB's Lifestyle division in administration

Retailer JJB Sports has put its Lifestyle division into administration, putting some 800 jobs at risk.
The company's Lifestyle division consists of the Original Shoe Company and Qube. Between them these two chains have nearly 80 stores in the UK, so about 800 jobs could be under threat if administrators KPMG fail to find a buyer.
A company statement said the Lifestyle division was continuing to trade "at a substantial loss", but that the board remained hopeful that a buyer for this part of the business would come forward.
