New polyester fibre plant in Vietnam

The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) is preparing to launch a building project for a new polyester fibre plant in the city of Hai Phong, the country’s third-most populous city.
The proposed fibre plant will involve an investment of more than $300 million and will have the capacity to produce 175,000 tonnes of polyester a year.
