Build-up to Brussels conference

Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) is putting the final preparations in place for its Advanced Textiles 2009 conference, which takes place in Brussels on April 2 and 3.

The organisation is working in partnership with specialist consultancy iHofmann Consulting to run the conference, which follows on from a successful launch event last year. The main focus is on textile innovation and on future applications of the ideas textile manufacturers are coming up with.

The organisers have said that one of their aims is to to boost cooperation in the European-US technical textile business community and the speaker programme reflects this, with participants from both sides of the Atlantic.

Places are still available, with a discount in place until March 2.
