More than 130 companies are to attend Smart Fabrics 2009, which is to run March 10-12 in Rome. Participants will include Louis Vuitton, adidas, Luminex and Philips.

Two pre-conference workshops and presentations from 40 industry experts will take place during the three-day event. Topics will cover: business perspective; visionary applications; and technology and innovation. Sessions will be relevant to representatives from the sportswear, fashion and healthcare clothing sectors as well as to those involved in research and development.
