Dow launches new surfactants

The Dow Chemical Company has announced the launch of three new surfactants, called the ECOSURF EH-3, 6, & 9.
It describes the products as a new generation of high-performance, readily biodegradable surfactants. They are designed for use in a range of industrial areas, including textile processing, to help manufacturers meet the criteria for the US Environmental Protection Agency's Design for the Environment Surfactant Screen.
The company stated that all of the three ECOSURF EH Surfactants are oil-soluble emulsifiers with fast dynamic surface tension reduction. They are low foaming, have very low odour and a narrow gel range, making them ideally suited for ultra-concentrated formulations
