Italian cycling apparel manufacturer Giordana has chosen to use Dryarn in its biking gear which will be worn at the GranFondo Eddy Merckx bike race. The race will take place on June 20 in Verona.

All athletes entered in the race will receive a baselayer t-shirt made containing the microfibre.
Aquafil, the company that makes Dryarn, points out that cycling is a tough sport that exposes the body to frequent changes in temperature. As a result, cyclists need to wear clothing that will offer them maximum benefits when they are training and competing.

The company claims that the garment is seamless and adheres to the body like a second skin. It also explains that the t-shirt is water-repellent and offers thermoregulatory benefits. Furthermore, it is said to be easy to care for, lightweight, breathable and bacteriostatic.
