The upcoming edition of ShanghaiTex, which will run June 12-15 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, is to focus on innovation, environment and energy saving.

According to organisers, around 1,000 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions will participate at the event, including pavilions from Korea, Taiwan and Germany. Exhibition space will cover 100,000 m² and exhibitors will present a broad range of textile machinery including printing, dyeing and finishing machines.

Organisers are optimistic about the event, despite the effects of the economic downturn on the global textile sector.
