OutDoor Innovation Lab to promote discussion

Organisers of OutDoor Friedrichshafen, which runs July 16-19, are expecting the event’s new Innovation Lab, which will launch at the upcoming event, will help to boost discussions between participants from different segments of the supply chain.

A panel of speakers from the research, raw material, brand and retail sectors will address two major questions: what innovation means to their organisation and how they innovate in order to stay ahead of their competitors. The session will take place on July 17 from 16.00.

Speakers will include Thomas Lipke, managing director at Globetrotter, Carsten von Birckhahn, head of product development at Vaude and Edelrid, WL Gore and Associates’ Thomas Kiebler, Mark Held, secretary general of the European Outdoor Group, and Steve Brindle, development manager, International Brand Futures, at the International Fashion Institute.
