New maternity running skirt launched
Runningskirts.com founders and identical twins Christy Baker and Cindy Lynch have launched a new Fit Momma Skirt for pregnant women. The two fitness enthusiasts, both of whom ran throughout their pregnancies in 2007, are hoping to encourage women to keep fit while they are pregnant.
According to the company, Olympic athlete and mother-to-be Mary Wineberg has tested and approved the new skirt, which has a built-in belly-supporting waistband designed to last throughout the different stages of the pregnancy. The skirt is said to be made from lightweight, quick-drying fabric and is designed to look attractive as well as offering the necessary support and comfort benefits.
The new line will be presented at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 21-24.
