WRAP hosts compliance seminar in Vietnam
Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), the US-based social and environmental compliance certification programme, is hosting an awareness seminar on corporate social and environmental compliance in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on November 17.
Organised with the help of the Vietnam textile & Apparel Association (VITAS), Shoes and Leather Association (SLA), Handicraft and Wood Industry Association (HAWA) and Bureau Veritas CPS Vietnam, the half-day event will focus on establishing and maintaining a facility-based social and environmental compliance programme to satisfy buyer requirements.
The seminar will cover an overview of WRAP background and principles, the process of WRAP certification, best practices of corporate social responsibility, and an overview of relevant local laws and regulations.
The organisation is encouraging technical and quality managers, internal auditors, personnel who handle customer audits, certification body auditors and other interested parties to attend the event.
