Bureau Veritas strengthens textiles testing in Portugal

Testing group Bureau Veritas has signed a partnership with a Portuguese textiles lab to expand its services across the country.

Textiles is one of the oldest industries in Portugal, generating 9% of exports and employing more than 100,000.

Founded in 2009 and located in Trofa, Quality Lab has established a strong technical reputation.
Mark Agius, vice-president of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, said: "Portugal is a region where many of our retail clients are sourcing from and it is a logical step for us to develop our network wherever our clients need."
