Strong growth for Portuguese textiles in first four months

Portugal’s textile industry has registered year-on-year export growth of 4.2% in the first four months of 2015, with values reaching €1.6 billion over the period. Growth for the month of April alone was substantially higher, at 9.4%.

Technical textile exports in the first four months registered 12% growth, one of the most successful growth rates in the entire textile sector.
