The Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturer and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) has become the 44th country to join the International Apparel Federation (IAF). The IAF represents apparel associations from all over the world, promoting innovation and helping to provide solutions to challenges faced by members of the garment industry.

PRGMEA chairman Mohsin Ayub Mirza said that becoming a member would help Pakistani apparel firms to establish business contacts across the globe. He also said he hoped to invite IAF participants from all over the world to Pakistan so they could develop a better understanding of the country’s apparel industry.
