Anniversary ambitions for Outlast

Temperature-regulating fabric technology provider Outlast is celebrating its twentieth anniversary in 2010 and has announced that it will mark the occasion at various points throughout the year with new product launches and research and development initiatives.

Chief executive, Greg Roda, has said that his company’s special year got off to an excellent start at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market exhibition in Salt Lake City at the end of January.

“The number of visitors to our booth, as well as the quality of meetings that took place, were very encouraging, given the difficult retail market,” he said. “Wigwam, one of our long-time partners, took the opportunity to launch five new sock styles at the show featuring Outlast technology. While Kenyon Consumer Products, a valued partner supplying technical baselayer products to the US sporting goods, military, and first responder markets, was well received as they showed flame retardant garments that utilise blends with Outlast viscose fibre.”
