Uniqlo launches new technical innerwear

Japan-based Uniqlo has added new garments to its technical innerwear range. Its Heattech line, introduced in 2003, was made to keep wearers warm in winter, while its new Tech garments are designed to keep wearers cool and comfortable during the summer months.

Silky Dry is a new innerwear garment for men, while Sarafine is the latest addition for women. The new garments are designed to be lightweight and “as comfortable as bare skin”.

The technical fabrics used wick moisture away to keep the wearer dry, cool and comfortable, and offer anti-bacterial and anti-odour benefits. The fabric combines Asahi Kasei’s Cupra breathable fibres with tripot cross-section nylon from Toray Industries.
