New eco looks at Jersey Lomellina
Italian warp-knitted fabric manufacturer Jersey Lomellina has updated its Ecolors and Ecoline fabric lines. Ecolors is now available in six new colours, while a number of striped versions have been added to the Ecoline range.
Both fabrics are made using origin-dyed (bulk dyed) fibres that allow for a dry production process. This means no water is needed during the dyeing cycle.
According to the company, the two fabrics offer uniform, homogeneous colours, as well as colour fastness. They also contain Xtra Life Lycra so they are resistant to chlorine and ideal for use in swimwear. Their elasticity, soft handle and breathability also make them suitable for fitness wear.
