Bogner golf shirt uses coldblack

12/11/2010

Germany-based sportswear and outdoor wear provider Bogner has introduced a new shirt for women that incorporates coldblack technology.

With a UPF rating of 30, the shirt, designed for female golfers, offers UV protection and reflects heat rays. Although sunlight is considered to be a natural antidepressant and aids in the production of Vitamin D, the company points out that long-term exposure to high temperatures can reduce performance levels and harm the skin.

Thanks to the coldblack finish, the premium women’s shirt from Bogner (DE) reflects a large part of the solar rays that cause heat build-up. The shirt also remains tangibly cooler.

Coldblack was developed by Schoeller Technologies and Clariant International and launched in July 2008.
