Downlite partners with US apparel brands
US down supplier, Downlite, will announce that it has teamed up with Western Mountaineering, Eddie Bauer and RAB at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2011. The partnerships will result in exclusive down supply for a range of apparel pieces from each company in 2011.
“Our RestAssured sterilizing process ensures the cleanest and highest quality down fills on the market,” said Marvin Werthaiser, co-founder of Downlite. “This level of integrity allows us to provide the best insulation at high production capacities, making us an ideal partner for outdoor and snowsports apparel manufacturers.”
Sales of insulated apparel have increased by over 40% since the start of 2010, according to research by the Outdoor Industry Association Vantage Point.
