Hyosung launches new products and fabric directions for 2012

The new fibres include Mipan Robic Air for lightweight durability and Mipan Aqua X for cool touch and moisture management. Also available are new fabrics trends made with the company’s eco range, Mipan Regen recycled nylon and Regen recycled polyester.
According to Hyosung, the increased interest in outdoor activities ties in with ecological issues in protecting the environment, evident through the growth of recycled fibres and sustainability throughout the textile chain. Ideal for this trend are Mipan Regen and Regen recycled fibres in wovens or in knit blends with creora eco H-550.
H-550 is a low settable spandex for saving energy in knitting and has been designed to give fabrics a soft touch, reduce yellowing with improved moulding and chlorine resistance. With a continuing trend forlightweight fabrics, H-550 elastane is ideal for use in 40G, 50G, and 60G fabrics.
The synthetics across the collection feature creora performance H-350 to deliver targeted high compression support. This includes quick dry, moisture management and lightweight functional fabrics made with Aerocool polyester or new Mipan aqua X which has been designed to help the wearer’s performance.
In addition, the collection displays black and steely greys which continue to be bestsellers in this sector, enhanced with creora black for intense tones and high definition stretch. There is also a strong direction towards perfect high gloss and bright surface effects featuring in four-way stretch compact knits or innovative mesh effects.
