US sportswear brand Nike has hired famed photographer Annie Leibovitz to shoot female athletes for individual and group portraits for its latest female-targeted ‘Make Yourself’ advertising campaign.

Appearing in the ads will be tennis players Maria Sharapova and Li Na, track-and-field stars Allyson Felix and Perri Shakes-Drayton, football player Hope Solo, dancer Sofia Boutella, and surfer Laura Enever.
