Clariant presents new product for “cosmetotextiles”

Named Quiospheres, the product uses “cosmetic microencapsulation” and can be applied to any fabric. Manufacturers and brands have a choice of two effects: Moist, which provides hydrating and moisturising properties and Slim, which offers firmness and wellness. Microcapsules are distributed evenly across the fabric.
The release of the ingredients is scientifically measured and continues through 20 wash cycles. Garments incorporating Quiospheres can be tumbled and ironed at warm temperatures up to 70°C.
