An international seminar entitled "Textiles and Clothing Trade Potential in Asia" will be held on October 17 at the Taipei World Trade Center in Taiwan.

The seminar will be organised by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) and the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), and will coincide with the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS), which will be held on October 16-18.

The seminar will focus on the emerging Asian market as a powerhouse for textiles and world economic growth. It will look into ways of keeping up with growing demand and consumer trends in Asian markets and improving the competitiveness and productivity of the textile industry, while developing innovative materials and manufacturing technologies.
