Debut for Taiwan pavilion at Chinese fair

The Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) is organising a country pavilion at Shenzhen International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories for the first time, a move it says highlights the growing demand for textiles from South China.

The event in mid-July will cover casualwear, knits yarns and fabrics and last year hosted 600 exhibitors and 13,000 visitors.

Jane Fang, project manager at TTF, said: “Since Shenzhen is an important base for producing women’s apparel and there are many well-known Chinese brands there, we are optimistic about the market potential and the performance of this fair.”
