Top Taiwanese textile firms gear up for Titas
Far Eastern New Century (FENC), Chia Her and SHEICO Group are among some of Taiwan’s leading textile companies preparing to show their developments at the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS) in Taipei next week.

FENC’s recycled polyester (TopGreen) products were used in World Cup apparel and the company is developing renewably sourced bio-based PET polyester fibres. In 2013, the company unveiled the world’s first high performance bio-based cooling fibre Bio-TopCool+. FENC will introduce far-infrared retaining, high UV resistant, as well as antibacterial functional fibres at TITAS 2014.

Chia Her, a vertically integrated textile manufacturer, will introduce its functional wool series NwoolTec+. The series uses Merino wool as base material, treated with “advanced technology”.

Singtex - maker of S.Café coffee yarn and supplier to Patagonia, The North Face, Timberland, VF group and Puma - has extended its series to create more eco-friendly, innovative and high quality products.

Titas takes place from October 15 to 17 at the Taipei World Trade Centre, Nangang Exhibition Hall.  We will report more news from the show next week.
